Google Antigravity now lets Firebase Studio developers import existing projects and continue work in its agent-first IDE. Imported workspaces get Gemini models, Agent Skills, a built-in Browser Agent, and Firebase Auth, Firestore, and Hosting via the Firebase MCP server.
Google Antigravity, Google's agentic development platform, now supports importing Firebase Studio projects directly — letting developers pick up their existing codebase in Antigravity's agent-first environment. Imported projects have access to Gemini models, Agent Skills, and a built-in Browser Agent. Firebase core services — Auth, Firestore, and Hosting — are supported via the Firebase MCP server, and the setup runs locally or over SSH to a remote VM.
For developers already building on Firebase, this creates a direct path into Antigravity's tooling — including cross-surface agents that work across editor, terminal, and browser — without rebuilding their project from scratch. New integrations like Google Search and Nano Banana are also available alongside existing Firebase services.
