Firebase released an official plugin for the Cursor IDE, integrating 11 specialized Agent Skills and a dedicated MCP server. Available through the Cursor Marketplace, the plugin requires zero configuration to provide the AI agent with structured context for services like
Auth, App Hosting, and Genkit for Node.js and Dart.Standard AI models often struggle with outdated documentation or deprecated SDK patterns when generating logic. By packaging these capabilities as Agent Skills, Firebase ensures the agent operates with precision within its reasoning loop.
