Sanity Launches MCP Plugin on Cursor Marketplace for Content Management

Sanity, a structured content platform, launched its plugin on the Cursor Marketplace. The plugin bundles a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, four agent skills — covering Sanity development best practices, content modeling, content experimentation, and SEO — plus four commands including schema deployment, code review, TypeGen, and listing available tools.

This brings content operations directly into the coding workflow. The plugin keeps content and code in the same agent session, and the content model works across every channel — not just the one being built at the moment.

Developers building on Sanity can now manage content, generate images, and deploy schema changes from the same Cursor session they use for code — no context switching between editor and CMS.
