Google AI Studio Upgrades Vibe Coding with Antigravity Agent and Firebase

Google AI Studio launched a full-stack vibe coding upgrade powered by the Antigravity coding agent and native Firebase integration. Prompts can now produce apps with real databases, user authentication, and real-time multiplayer — all without leaving the browser.

Google AI Studio upgraded its vibe coding experience with two additions: the Google Antigravity coding agent — Google's agentic development platform — and a native Firebase integration. The agent handles complex actions from simpler prompts, maintains a deeper understanding of project structure, and makes precise multi-step code edits. It can connect to real-world services like payment processors or Google Maps using your own credentials stored in a new Secrets Manager.

The Firebase integration changes what's possible to build in the browser. The agent detects when your app needs a database or user login and provisions Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication once you approve. Apps built this way support cloud data storage, cross-device sync, real-time multiplayer, and secure user sign-in.

Head to AI Studio's build mode and prompt for a multiplayer experience, a collaborative tool, or any app that needs persistent data and user accounts.
