Claude Code Remote Control Lets You Code From Your Phone

Claude Code launched Remote Control, a feature that bridges your local terminal session with the Claude iOS/Android app or the browser interface. Start a task at your desk, step away, and control it from your phone - Claude keeps running on your machine the entire time, so your filesystem, MCP servers, and project configuration all stay intact.

This is meaningfully different from Claude Code on the web, which runs on cloud infrastructure. Remote Control keeps execution on your machine while exposing only the conversation interface remotely. Conversations stay in sync across all connected devices simultaneously, and sessions reconnect automatically after network interruptions or laptop sleep.

Remote Control is in Research Preview for Max and Pro plan users - run claude rc to start.
