Claude Code Desktop Adds App Preview, PR Auto-Merge, and Session Mobility

· Updated

Claude Code's desktop app now lets you preview running apps, review code diffs inline, and monitor PRs with auto-fix and auto-merge without leaving the coding session. Sessions also move between CLI, desktop, web, and mobile with a single command.

Claude Code on desktop adds four capabilities that collapse the development loop into one workspace. App preview starts your dev server and shows the running UI inside the desktop app - Claude can see the visual result, read console logs, and iterate without you switching to a browser. A new "Review code" button scans your local diffs and leaves inline comments before anything leaves your machine.

PR monitoring runs in the background after you push: Claude Code tracks CI status, attempts to auto-fix failures, and merges PRs once checks pass. You move on to your next task and the previous PR handles itself.

Session mobility ties it together - run /desktop in the CLI to bring a terminal session into the desktop app, or push any session to the cloud to continue from the web or Claude's mobile app.
