OpenCode Adds Ling 2.6 Flash to Provide Free Agentic Coding

OpenCodeOpenCode

OpenCode integrated the Ling 2.6 Flash model to offer free, high-speed agentic coding for a limited time. The model is optimized for the low latency required for autonomous terminal-based workflows and multi-step agent loops.

OpenCode, an open-source terminal-based AI coding agent, added the Ling 2.6 Flash model to its platform for free for a limited time. As a Flash-tier model, Ling 2.6 Flash is optimized for high-speed performance, allowing users to leverage specialized coding capabilities within their terminal without incurring immediate usage fees.

This integration follows the addition of MiMo v2.5 to the OpenCode library, continuing a push to lower the cost of autonomous development. By providing a Flash tier model, OpenCode addresses the high token demands of agent loops. Developers can now run complex multi-step tasks without incurring high API costs.

You can access Ling 2.6 Flash within the OpenCode terminal by selecting it from the model provider list. The model is currently free, extending the recent rollout of Hy3 Preview and Opus 4.7. This access is designed for agentic engineering tasks requiring high throughput and low-latency execution.
