Claude Cowork is now generally available for all paid plans, introducing enterprise-grade controls like role-based access and spend limits. This shift allows organizations to deploy autonomous agents beyond engineering teams to functions like marketing and finance with full visibility.

Anthropic moved Claude Cowork to general availability for all paid plans on macOS and Windows. This release introduces organization-wide controls for Claude Enterprise users, including role-based access controls (RBAC), per-team spend limits, and a new usage analytics dashboard to track adoption and session activity.

While agentic coding proved the value of task-based AI for developers, Claude Cowork brings that autonomy to non-technical departments. Marketing and finance teams are using it to handle "work that surrounds the work"—like research sprints—filling a governance gap for IT departments requiring visibility into autonomous agent behavior.

You can now integrate a new Zoom MCP (a standard for connecting AI to tools) connector to pull meeting intelligence into workflows. Admins can also restrict connector actions and monitor agent events via expanded OpenTelemetry support. It is available today for all paid subscribers via the Claude desktop app.
