Qwen3.5-Plus, Alibaba's hosted frontier model, is now on Vercel AI Gateway. Set model: 'alibaba/qwen3.5-plus' in the Vercel AI SDK - no Alibaba Cloud account or separate API key needed. The model brings a 1M context window and built-in adaptive tool use, with strong performance on agentic workflows, tool calling, thinking, and multimodal tasks including UI analysis and code generation.

Vercel AI Gateway is a unified API layer that routes to multiple model providers through a single endpoint, with built-in observability, usage tracking, cost monitoring, and automatic retries. Adding Qwen3.5-Plus gives Vercel developers access to a top-performing model without additional setup.
