OpenClaw enables persistent background agent flows and expands messaging support

This shift addresses the reliability gap in local agent systems by ensuring multi-step tasks survive session interruptions. By integrating native execution approvals in Slack and remote MCP support over HTTP, the platform moves closer to enterprise-grade automation. A new fail-closed security policy also blocks dangerous plugin installs by default.
