Melius, a creative workspace for generative media, launched its beta featuring a Model Context Protocol (an open standard for connecting AI models to external tools) server for AI agents. This integration allows a user's existing agent to interact with a shared canvas, materializing creative ideas through automated generative workflows.
Current generative media production is fragmented, requiring humans to manually stitch together disparate tools and prompts. By providing a dedicated canvas for agents, Melius shifts the human role from a manual operator to a creative director. This allows agents to handle technical execution while the user focuses on high-level judgment and taste.
You can now connect agents like Claude to the Melius canvas to generate marketing assets, film sequences, or designs through natural language instructions. The platform is currently in beta for creative directors and designers. To request access and receive the MCP server instructions, you must contact the team directly.
