Linear Launches AI Agent with Skills, Automations, and Code Intelligence

Linear Agent, Linear's new AI agent built directly into the project management platform, is now in public beta for all teams. Grounded in your workspace — roadmap, issues, and customer requests — it's available from the app, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and mobile.

As execution accelerates, Linear sees the bottleneck in product development shifting to judgment — deciding what to build and where attention belongs. Linear Agent targets that: synthesizing needs, surfacing backlog patterns, flagging risk. Its answers are workspace-specific, pulled from your actual issues and roadmap.

Save any agent conversation as a reusable skill, then trigger it via slash command or let Linear invoke it automatically. Automations (Business and Enterprise) activate the agent during triage. Code Intelligence — coming soon to the same plans — extends this into your codebase, so non-technical teammates can answer code questions without tracking down an engineer.
