Vercel Launches Plugin Giving Coding Agents 47+ Platform Skills

The Vercel plugin for coding agents is now available for Claude Code and Cursor, injecting real-time platform knowledge into agent sessions. It ships with 47+ skills covering Next.js, AI SDK, Turborepo, Vercel Functions, and Routing Middleware — powered by a relational knowledge graph. Three specialist sub-agents handle distinct domains: AI Architect, Deployment Expert, and Performance Optimizer. A PostToolUse validation hook catches deprecated patterns, sunset packages, and stale APIs in real time.

Coding agents today handle isolated tasks well, but lack the platform-wide context to make decisions confidently across a full Vercel project. This plugin addresses that directly — dynamic injection across seven lifecycle hooks means the agent knows what tools, conventions, and APIs are relevant before you ask.
