Atlassian's Rovo MCP server lets Claude and other AI clients access your Jira projects and Confluence pages as live context. Give Claude a spec URL and it reads the page, plans the work, and creates Jira tickets in bulk.

Atlassian's Rovo MCP server is a remote integration layer that connects AI clients to Jira, Confluence, and the Atlassian platform through the MCP protocol. Point Claude - or any MCP-compatible agent - at your Atlassian workspace, and it can search Confluence pages, read project priorities, create Jira work items in bulk, and summarize work across your org without leaving your AI tool.

This addresses the context-switching that slows teams down. Product managers writing specs in Confluence can ask Claude to generate the full Jira ticket breakdown - 18 child tickets with priorities and story points - from a single Confluence link. The MCP server acts as a secure proxy with OAuth authentication, operating within the permissions of the signed-in user and without caching your data.
