Theta EdgeCloud MCP Server Brings 18+ AI Models to Any MCP Client

· Updated

Theta Network, a decentralized GPU infrastructure provider, launched an official MCP server that gives any MCP-compatible AI assistant access to their full model suite. Available models include FLUX for image generation, Whisper for speech-to-text in 99+ languages, Llama 3.1 70B, DeepSeek R1, ESRGAN for upscaling, and text-to-video generation - 18+ models total through four tools: list_services, infer, get_request_status, and get_upload_url.

The key value is the "build once, use everywhere" pattern MCP enables. Rather than maintaining separate integrations for Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Zed, and other clients, a single server covers all of them. Conversations are context-aware, so you can generate an image, refine the prompt, then upscale the result without writing any code.

Use the server to add multi-model AI capabilities to your existing tools — generate images with FLUX, transcribe audio with Whisper, or run inference with Llama or DeepSeek, all through whichever MCP client you already use.

From today it becomes even easier to use Theta EdgeCloud's AI models. We've released an official MCP server that connects 18+ models to Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline & other MCP-compatible tools. Generate images, transcribe audio, or run LLM inference using natural language. 💬
