Seedance 2.0 uses a unified multimodal architecture for joint audio-video generation (creating sound and visuals in a single pass). It supports text, image, audio, and video inputs.This update marks Runway's transition from a single-model provider to a comprehensive video infrastructure platform. By hosting third-party models like Seedance 2.0 alongside its own Gen-4 series, the company provides a standardized interface for developers to access diverse video generation capabilities without managing multiple direct integrations or complex GPU clusters.
You can now integrate Seedance 2.0 into automated workflows to generate multi-shot videos with consistent characters and synchronized dialogue. The model accepts up to 12 assets as references, enabling precise control over cinematic camera movements and real-world physics. API access is available through the Runway Developer Portal.
