Perplexity's Computer agent can now take full control of Comet to complete tasks. It spins up a browser agent that accesses any site or logged-in app with your permission, removing the need for connectors or MCPs.

Perplexity Computer, the company's AI agent for autonomous task execution, now operates directly inside Comet, Perplexity's AI-powered browser. When activated, Computer spins up a browser agent that can navigate to any site and interact with logged-in apps — all with the user's permission and without requiring separate connectors or MCP integrations.

For most agent tools, users must set up per-service integrations before the agent can act. Computer in Comet skips that setup — since it runs within the browser, your existing logged-in sessions across any site are immediately available. It's accessible to all Computer users on Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.

Open Comet and ask Computer to handle a multi-step task across your logged-in apps — research, email drafts, shopping — and let the browser agent work across your tabs.
