Perplexity Computer, the app's autonomous AI agent for long-running tasks, is now on iOS with full cross-device sync. Start a task on your phone and manage it from desktop — sessions stay in step. Android support is coming soon.

Perplexity Computer, the agentic task-running mode inside the Perplexity app, has expanded from desktop to iOS. The feature lets users delegate long-horizon work to an AI agent that runs autonomously. Cross-device synchronization keeps sessions in step: a task started on mobile is immediately accessible on desktop, and vice versa. The rollout reaches all iOS users inside the existing Perplexity app, with Android coming soon.

This brings Computer to where most people spend their time: the phone. Until now, kicking off a Computer task required a desktop. Mobile access removes that friction — users can delegate work whenever the idea strikes, not just when they're at their desk.

With Computer now on iOS, any task worth delegating can start from your phone — research, outreach, or analysis that would otherwise need a dedicated laptop session.
