OpenClaw v2026.3.23 patches Chrome MCP attach timeouts and OpenRouter auto-pricing recursion. The Chrome MCP flow now waits for tabs to become usable before signaling ready, ending macOS consent churn. OpenRouter auto-route cost tracking is restored after a bootstrap recursion fix.

OpenClaw, an open-source personal AI assistant, released v2026.3.23 with fixes across browser automation, provider pricing, and messaging channels. The Chrome MCP integration now waits for browser tabs to become fully usable after attaching to an existing session — resolving macOS Chrome attach timeouts and repeated consent churn. The OpenRouter auto route pricing bootstrapper was fixed to stop infinite recursion, restoring accurate cost tracking.

Messaging stability across Discord, Slack, Matrix, and Telegram also gets attention. Discord components and Slack blocks are optional again in the message schema, fixing pin/unpin/react flows that were failing schema validation. Anthropic thinking block ordering is now preserved during transcript sanitization, preventing follow-up turns from tripping Anthropic's unmodified-thinking validation.

If you run agents through Chrome MCP or OpenRouter auto routes, this release directly addresses active regressions in macOS browser attach flows and provider pricing accuracy — worth picking up before your next production run.
