NVIDIA Unveils Cosmos 3 and GR00T N2 to Power Global Robotics Ecosystem

· Updated

NVIDIA launched Cosmos 3 at GTC 2026, a foundation model unifying synthetic world generation, vision reasoning, and action simulation for generalized robot intelligence. GR00T N1.7 entered early access with commercial licensing, and GR00T N2 — previewed at the keynote — surpasses leading vision-language-action models on MolmoSpaces and RoboArena benchmarks.

The partnerships span the full robotics stack. ABB Robotics, FANUC, YASKAWA, and KUKA are integrating Omniverse and Isaac frameworks for digital twin validation across 2 million deployed robots. Humanoid builders Figure and Agility are adopting GR00T N models, while CMR Surgical and Medtronic are applying Cosmos to surgical robotics.

If you're building physical AI for robotics or autonomous systems, GR00T N1.7 is the commercially licensed entry point for production humanoid use. Cosmos 3's generalist architecture means simulation environments don't need to be robot-specific — opening a much broader pool of training scenarios.
