NVIDIA and LG Group are collaborating to build an AI factory, which will serve as accelerated computing infrastructure for LG's AI-driven businesses. This factory aims to unify AI model development, physical AI data generation, robot simulation and training, edge deployment, and digital twins into a single workflow for building physical AI systems. The initiative supports LG's efforts in robotics, autonomous driving, data center technologies, and GPU cloud services.

The collaboration brings together NVIDIA's end-to-end AI factory platform with LG Group's expertise in consumer electronics, mobility, and smart spaces. This partnership, which parallels NVIDIA and Doosan Group's partnership on similar AI factory infrastructure, is designed to enhance AI-driven manufacturing competitiveness and establish new smart factory standards. It also addresses the challenge of generating high-quality training data for robotics through synthetic data generation using NVIDIA Cosmos world foundation models.

LG Group plans to integrate NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab open robotics frameworks for robot simulation and training, and explore NVIDIA Isaac GR00T (a reasoning vision action language model) for humanlike reasoning in its robots. The AI factory will also align with the NVIDIA DSX AI factory platform, enabling rapid deployment of scalable supercomputing infrastructure for future AI cloud and GPU services.
