Notion added GPT-5.4 Mini to its Custom Agent model picker, offering a faster, lower-cost option for agent tasks. For straightforward jobs — routing, classification, or simple data retrieval — it delivers results at lower cost than the flagship GPT-5.4.

Notion's Custom Agent feature now includes GPT-5.4 Mini in its model picker. The picker offers Auto, Sonnet 4.6, Opus 4.6, GPT-5.2, GPT-5.4, GPT-5.4 Mini, GPT-5.4 Nano, Haiku 4.5, Gemini 3 Flash, and MiniMax M2.5 — all currently in beta. Each model displays Speed, Intelligence, and Cost ratings to guide selection. Custom agents are free to try during beta.

Model choice in agent builders directly affects cost and speed tradeoffs. GPT-5.4 Mini sits between GPT-5.4 Nano and the flagship GPT-5.4, making it a practical middle-ground for tasks that don't need maximum intelligence but need more than the lightest model.
