MiniMax partnered with Nous Research to launch MaxHermes, a managed cloud version of the open-source Hermes Agent powered by the MiniMax M2.7 model. The platform enables 10-second deployment of agents that autonomously learn new skills and integrate directly into messaging apps like Slack and Discord.

MiniMax, an AI company building multimodal models, launched MaxHermes with Nous Research. It is a cloud-hosted version of the Hermes Agent, an open-source AI agent (systems that autonomously plan and take multi-step actions) powered by the MiniMax M2.7 model. This release eliminates the technical overhead of local terminal setups.

This partnership focuses on co-evolution between the model and the agent harness. Optimizing MiniMax M2.7 for the Hermes Agent loop improves tool-calling accuracy and instruction following. The self-improving loop allows the agent to unlock exclusive skills as it completes complex tasks, moving beyond static chat interactions.

You can deploy a managed agent in 10 seconds through the MiniMax Agent platform. These agents run 24/7 and connect directly to Telegram, Discord, and Slack. Usage is tied to the MiniMax Token Plan, where tool calls consume account credits while providing a persistent, evolving partner for workflows.

Capable agents are the result of co-evolution between models and harnesses. We've been working with @NousResearch to ensure that M2.7 x Hermes Agent provides a top-tier experience for users. Hermes’s self-improving loop brings out the best in M2.7 through real usage. We are also launching MaxHermes, a cloud-hosted and managed version of Hermes in @MiniMaxAgent (No terminal setup, no config) If you’re already running Hermes locally, you can now give you agent a partner in the cloud with MaxHermes. The path to AGI is shorter with good company. @NousResearch 🤝 @MiniMax_AI
