The update introduces three tools: Avatar Shots for cinematic footage, Video Agent for prompt-to-finished video generation, and an AI Video Generator for creating high-quality b-roll (supplemental footage used to support a story) from text or reference images.This integration solves the "talking head" limitation by giving avatars physical presence and realistic motion. While the underlying Seedance model typically restricts human faces, HeyGen uses proprietary identity verification to allow verified digital twins to appear in cinematic scenes without the visual morphing common in other models.
You can now generate multi-character scenes with synchronized motion or create three-minute videos from a single prompt. The AI Video Generator also includes first and last frame control to define specific start and end points for clips. These features are available now for all HeyGen users.
