Cohere is excited to announce an expansion of our partnership with @EnsembleHP to develop the healthcare industry's first revenue cycle management (RCM)-native large language model. This fully custom model will be informed by RCM insights and purpose-built to manage the complex financial workflows that support healthcare operations. We look forward to continuing to apply Cohere technology to reduce administrative burden in industries where it matters most.
Cohere and Ensemble Launch US Healthcare's First Native RCM LLM
· Updated
Command model family. Unlike standard wrappers, this LLM undergoes continual pre-training and post-training on proprietary operational logs. It uses synthetic data and simulated environments to learn multi-step strategies for resolving complex insurance claims.General-purpose models often fail in regulated industries because they require extensive context engineering to understand specific payer behaviors. This RCM-native approach eliminates that bottleneck by embedding industry logic directly into the model weights. It allows for precise agentic reasoning without the latency or accuracy trade-offs of massive prompts.
You can deploy this intelligence layer across existing health records to automate tasks like denial prediction and billing quality assurance. The system identifies documentation gaps and assembles payer-specific appeals based on successful historical patterns. This capability is available through Cohere's enterprise AI stack for health systems and medical groups.
