Anthropic launched Claude for Healthcare with HIPAA-ready infrastructure, health data integrations including Apple Health, and connectors to CMS, Medidata, and ClinicalTrials.gov. The release bridges personal health tracking and enterprise clinical workflows with agent skills for FHIR development and trial protocol drafting.

Anthropic launched Claude for Healthcare, a HIPAA-ready suite for providers, payers, and health tech. Connectors include the CMS Coverage Database for prior authorization, ICD-10 for medical coding, and the National Provider Identifier Registry for credentialing. Apple Health and Android Health Connect integrations let Claude access personal lab results and health records.

The life sciences expansion adds Medidata for clinical trials, ClinicalTrials.gov for registry access, bioRxiv/medRxiv for preprints, and ToolUniverse with 600+ scientific tools. Agent skills cover FHIR development, trial protocol drafting with FDA compliance, and bioinformatics workflows.

Sanofi, Novo Nordisk, Banner Health, and 13 other organizations shared how they're using Claude across healthcare and life sciences workflows.
