As agentic AI becomes more common, the human-in-the-loop requirement creates a bottleneck. Moving these interactions to physical peripherals allows for ambient oversight, where a desk device can alert a user to a pending approval without them needing to keep the terminal window in focus.

I, for instance, built a little desk pet that alerts me whenever Claude is waiting for permission.
