This expansion follows a pilot where partners identified over 10,000 critical vulnerabilities in essential software. Anthropic warns that Mythos-class models—AI capable of autonomous cyberattacks—will likely emerge within 6 to 12 months. Scaling access now aims to establish defensive norms and accelerate patching before these capabilities are released elsewhere.
While Claude Mythos Preview remains restricted, organizations can use Claude Security to scan codebases using public models. Anthropic is also releasing its internal vulnerability-finding tools to trusted security teams upon request. The company plans to scale its Cyber Verification Program to grant specific defensive capabilities to more organizations globally.
